Michelle Semenec: Radiology Technologist. A graduate of Brevard Community College. Prior to
graduating from Brevard Community College, she worked in the service industry for several years including the
diagnostic radiology field. Those interests and experiences led her to pursue a career in Radiology. Prior
to her position Viera Diagnostic Center, she worked for four years at University Center Imaging in Melbourne.
As a Registered Radiology Technologist, Michelle has added qualifications in Computer Aided Detection (CAD),
Bone Density (DEXA) and Mammography. She is a member of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.

Gillian Martin: She is a graduate of John Hopkins School of Radiology. She has over 11 years of
clinical experience 9 of which are in clinical Ultrasound and as an instructor. She was at University Center
Imaging in Melbourne for 8 years as a Sonographer. She is registered by the American Radiologic Diagnostic
Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). She has considerable clinical experience on several Ultrasound units such as GE,
Acuson, ATL, Toshiba and HP. She is current in the latest aspect of Sonography with her continuing education
in breast, vascular and echocardiography. She is a member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Wanda Batiste: Radiologic Technologist with over 25 years of radiology experience in
clinical, management, research and teaching. Over 20 years experience as a mammographer, 12 years
of which she was the supervisor of the World-renowned Iris Cantor Breast Center at University of
California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Worked alongside esteemed breast radiologist Larry Bassett and
accomplished breast surgeon, author and women’s health advocate -Susan Love- in all aspects of
breast imaging. She has performed over 2,000 interventional breast-imaging procedures (biopsies,
localization, etc). Previously, she worked at University Center Imaging in Melbourne for 8 years as
the only mammography technologist. She is registered and certified in both radiology and mammography.

Susan Reed: Sonographer with over 13 years of clinical experience. Graduate of Diagnostic
Ultrasound School in New York with training at the Pascack Valley Hospital in New Jersey. Registered American
Radiologic Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS). Considerable clinical experience on several ultrasound
units such as GE, Acuson, ATL, Toshiba and HP. Continuing education in breast, OB/GYN, abdominal, small
parts and vascular.

Robert Ratcliff: Mr. Robert Ratcliff, our MRI Technologist, is an Athabascan Indian, which was
born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Bob has recently relocated back to Viera with his wife and five children,
after traveling in the medical profession for the past four years. He brings 14 years of experience and knowledge
from a variety of MRI systems throughout the United States to Viera Diagnostic Center. Bob’s view of Viera
Diagnostic Center: “I am so proud and excited to be a part of the staff here where they not only say the patient
is first, but practice it!”

Ann Filarski, R.T. (R)(MR)(CT): Ann is a graduate of the Hudson Area School of Radiologic Technology and
a member of both the ASRT and CMRS. Ann also holds advanced certifications in CT and MRI. Over 18 years
of experience and continuing education have made her an outstanding technologist who feels that caring must
come first.

Patricia Clark, R.T.: Pat is a graduate of Brevard Community College and holds an A.S. Degree in
Radiologic Technology. Prior to attending BCC, Pat worked in the medical field for many years as a transcriptionist.
Pat has training in Bone Density (DEXA) in addition to Radiography. She is a member of the American Society of
Radiologic Technologists.

Elizabeth E. Varecka, R.T.(R)(MR): Elizabeth was born in Brevard County. She is a graduate of Brevard
Community College and holds an advanced certificate in MRI with over 14 years experience in her field.
This experience also includes advanced tecniques and quality assurance. She enjoys and is great working with
people in all age groups. She is a member of the A.R.R.T.

Lynn Kolmetzky, R.T.(R)(M): Lynn is a graduate of Mid Michigan Community College and holds an associates degree
in radiologic technology. Lynn is also trained in bone density (DEXA) scanning. She holds an advanced certificate in
